GES in conjunction with CUH2A is providing the design of the MEP systems for the new Physical Sciences Complex (PSC). The PSC is a three phased project which will create a flexible state-of-the-art laboratory/office/classroom facility that will house the Department of Physics, the Department of Astronomy and the Institute for Physical Sciences and Technology (IPST).

Phase I will consist of a new facility adjacent to the existing Computer Space Science (CSS) Building and would house specialized laboratory spaces designed to meet strict criteria for vibration sensitive and electromagnetic interference control. Also included in Phase I would be standard research laboratories and faculty offices. The three departments would all be represented and be accommodated in this initial phase.
