Global Engineering Solutions (GES) provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services, as well as construction administration for the renovation of 21 restrooms at Oakland Mills High School in Columbia, Maryland.

The primary scope of work included the interior of the restrooms to be gutted and replaced with new fixtures, toilet partitions, finishes, ceiling, new lighting, and updated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the area of construction.

GES’ design for the renovation included low flow fixtures and occupancy sensors.  The designs of the restrooms are in compliance with ADA, including accessibility and reach requirements.  Construction administration services were limited to review of shop submittals, site visits, and punch list documentation and walk through during construction of the restrooms.
